Guided Tissue Regeneration (GTR)

These are some of the most exciting and promising fields in periodontics. GTR is a method in which we are able to literally grow new bone and tissue attachment around teeth and even implants. Different types of materials are utilized (see schematic) – including membranes, bone grafts and growth factors to aid the body in regenerating lost tissue.
